The APC Elections 2015 mobile app is carefullydesigned to cover all the 36 States of Nigeria including the FCTencapsulating the 774 Local Government and 8806 Wards in thecountry. It provides an avenue for the electorates and party agentsnot only to monitor but also obtain real-time updates during theelections. The app proffers the electorates the opportunity toshare photos, videos and audios from there polling units andsubsequently at their wards collation centers. Observed electionresults from all quarters of the elections from the Presidency tothe State House of Assembly obtained from the ward collation centercan also be shared through the app. The app also presents addressesof all the 8806 wards collation centers in Nigeria while educatingthe electorates on general election information and guidelinesunder the FAQs.In line with the Independent National Electoral Commission(INEC) call, advising electorates to come to the voting centerswith cameras to capture events that unfold during the electionexercise, this app has provided a depository for electorates bothAPC faithful and otherwise to upload these footages (images, audiosand videos). The app is configured to handle footages of up to 30MBonly. The app collects electorates observed election results fromall the ward collation centers, analyze these results and providethe results in graphical charts while drilling down the resultsfrom state to local government area and ward level through itscorresponding website (http://www.elections.org.ng).Although, each app user is entitled to upload single observedresults from his or her ward collation center, the app is capableand encourages more than one entry from each ward collation centerfrom multiple app users. In a few cases where the app user isverified and assigned elevated user rights (Super User), he or shecan upload various wards results but limited to one result perward. This feature is provided to support party agents who haverepresentative with non-android app compatible phones who can sendthe result to a single hub through SMS for upload. In case ofmistake during the uploaded results, do not worry as the lastuploaded results for the ward overrides the existing resultsprovided by the app user.To ensure that the electorates are well informed on whom theyintend to cast their votes, his capabilities and achievements.
